Session #1: Reimagining Employer Healthcare: The Role of Direct Primary Care

This program explores how employers can move beyond traditional insurance models to deliver high-quality, accessible and cost-effective care for their employees and dependents.  Dr. Timothy Murray and Jessa Cisewski from Solstice Health will share how Direct Primary Care (DPC) is transforming the healthcare landscape by prioritizing patient care, providing transparent pricing and making healthcare accessible.  Attendees will learn how DPC improves access to care, reduces unnecessary healthcare spending and enhances employee satisfaction with benefits.

Learning Objectives

  • Define DPC and explain how this differs than traditional healthcare systems care.
  • Identify practical strategies for implementing Direct Primary Care in a workplace.
  • Recognize how important DPC is in preventive care, chronic disease management and early intervention.

Meet the Speakers

Dr. Timothy Murray started Solstice Health 14 years ago, after seeing the corruption in the traditional healthcare systems.  He saw the lack of access, cost and lack of transparency as barriers to healthcare and wanted to change the healthcare landscape to provide better care options.  Currently, Dr. Murray has 5 clinic locations and an Ambulatory Surgery Center, where individuals and employers seek care for both primary care and surgical services.

Jessa Cisewski is a Registered Nurse who is committed to transforming the way
healthcare is delivered-putting patients first and removing the barriers that standard healthcare systems have in place.  After seeing first-hand how corrupt and convoluted healthcare can be, she wanted to find another way to “do” healthcare for her family.  She stumbled upon Solstice Health and never looked back.
